Chelek 27, Beis Nissan

The Rebbe Rashab did say,

Just a few hours before he passed away,

“I am going to heaven, my writings I leave for you.”

Through these writings, we “have” the Rebbe himself, it's true.

To their Creator, Tzaddikim do compare,

How Hashem relates to His writing, we are aware.

“I wrote and gave My very self,” is the acronym for the word Anochi,

Hashem wrote and invested His essence into the Torah, literally.

Through studying Torah, Hashem says, “You are taking me,”

Similarly, Tzaddikim invest themselves into the Torah concepts that they did study.

They are especially invested into the Torah insights that they innovated,

By studying their Torah teachings, with the Tzaddikim one is connected.

When comparing the wording,

The Rebbe Rashab uses the term “leaving,”

But when Hashem describes His writing,

The term used is “giving”.

“Giving” emphasizes the power of the giver,

No effort is required from the receiver.

In contrast, “leave” means that the giver just provides the opportunity,

For the receiver to take the object, actively.

The Rebbe Rashab started a new type of Yeshiva,

Where Chassidus was learned in the same way as the revealed part of Torah.

Chassidus became part of the curriculum that everyone did study,

Through discussion and debate between friends, they would reach clarity!

The revealed dimension of Torah was given,

In a way that it could be comprehended by intellect that is human,

But Chassidus was initially accepted in a manner of Emunah,

Which is the meaning of Kaballah.

Even after the Arizal's times, Chassidus was understood only,

By people who had souls so lofty.

Divine intellect it did remain,

From Chassidus, only the intellect of the G-dly soul could gain.

For the G-dly soul the hidden part of Torah shines openly,

Therefore, at that time questions there couldn't be.

But in the revealed part of Torah even before learning a question,

To make the Brachos on the Torah there is an obligation.

The Alter Rebbe's innovation,

Especially after his liberation,

Is that when Chassidus is explained it can settle even in the unrefined mind,

But to explain the concept to others, the words the unrefined can't find.

The innovation of the Rebbe Rashab was even greater,

He brought down the concepts of the hidden part of Torah in such a manner,

That to the comprehension of the revealed part of Torah it is the same,

A person can toil in it until he takes it and it is called by his name!

For those who study the hidden part of Torah there is a practical lesson,

When they do not understand they shouldn't be afraid to ask a question.

The Rebbe Rashab paved the way for the teachings of Chassidus to be,

Grasped in the same way that the revealed part of Torah we study.

To understand Torah, one can't fulfill the obligation,

Just through the acceptance of the yoke of Heaven.

One must understand the answer to his question,

Even in the areas of Torah that are hidden.

Studying Chabad Chassidus, Torah's hidden dimension,

In a manner of complete comprehension,

Is an imminent preparation,

For the final redemption!
